FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, presents Floanne: April in Paris exclusively on Friday, April 22nd at 9:30pm. In this show dedicated to the City of Light and its indomitable spirit, Floanne performs the songs that have made Paris an international beacon of liberty and a touchstone for artists and lovers around the world. Floanne’s special artistry brings alive the timeless standards of French chansons first sung by Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour and Yves Montand and some gems of the Art Song repertoire. Backed by her band of New York Jazz innovators lead by Dan Furman, Floanne weaves a spell of universal emotions, full of charm, excitement, love, heartache, solitude and defiance. The proceeds from Floanne’s shows will go to Strength to Strength, an organization that brings together the survivors of terrorism around the world.

Floanne is a songstress bringing her unique modern twist to vintage tunes. A refreshing blend of country girl and urban actress, Floanne is inspired by an eclectic range of performers and musical traditions. Known in the nightclub scene as an interpreter of French chansons, especially the Edith Piaf repertoire, Floanne is backed by New York's top jazz improvisers. Passionate about lyrics and acoustics, the chanteuse uses her versatile three-octave instrument with magic and spontaneity. A regular of the New York nightclub scene (Joe's Pub, Symphony Space, the Standard Hotel, Sleep No More, Bryant Park and MoMA), Floanne recently sang at the Miami-Dade County Auditorium, the Philadelphia Art Museum and the French Ambassador’s residence in Washington.
Floanne sang in the musical "Loving the Silent Tears" opposite Jody Watley, Jon Secada and Liz Callaway at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium and has appeared in films opposite Helen Hunt, Jason Schwartzman and Jonathan Pryce, She has also voiced roles in Woody Allen’s “Magic in the Moonlight” and Israel Horovitz’s “My Old Lady”.
