Strength to Strength Hosts Morning Breakfast for London Bombing Survivors and Bereaved

Each year as an anniversary approaches, it is never easy. It's not easy for the bereaved or for the survivors. On Thursday, July 7, 2016, from 10am-12pm, 50 survivors and bereaved family members from the London bombings came together at a morning breakfast hosted by Strength to Strength at The London Hilton on Park Lane. Paulo Pimentel, Board Member of Strength to Strength, coordinated the morning with support staff from Brent Bereavement Services in case anyone needed support. Sarri Singer, founder of Strength to Strength and Judie Singer, Board Member of Strength to Strength, traveled for the sixth year to London for the anniversary to support fellow survivors, bereaved and family members.  Many of those that came said it was wonderful to have a place to come together with those that experienced the same thing before the ceremony. Beautiful pastries and fresh fruit were provided along with coffee, tea and soft drinks.

As the group made their way to Hyde Park for the memorial ceremony, a survivor commented that they hoped this morning tradition would continue with Strength to Strength. We plan on being there to provide support especially on anniversaries for as long as families in the United Kingdom need us.

Special THANK YOU to The London Hilton Hotel for making the morning so special.
