1st Annual Sephora Fundraiser in Manhattan

Our 1st Annual Sephora Event "Come Celebrate Your Inner Beauty" took place on Sunday October 24, 2010 in Manhattan. Over a 100 female supporters came out together with victims and family members to enjoy an evening of makeovers, wine tasting, and sushi. The women also were given a great gift bag filled with beauty products from sponsoring brands for attending the evening.

Be inspired,  be beautiful,  be yourself was the theme of the evening. Sarri Singer, Director, and a victim of terrorism herself, spoke about her personal attack on June 11, 2003 in Jerusalem, Israel on bus #14 and the importance of bringing survivors together globally to share their experiences and heal. "Terrorism is not one country's problem, its a world problem and we all have the responsibility to show victims of terrorism that they are not lone and that we will be there to support them long-term".

The evening ended with the announcement of the winners of the various raffle prizes. The success of this event was due to the dedication of our Chairs, Dalia Bellows, Seagal Mann, Nava Silton and their entire committee. We look forward to next years event and working with Sephora.
